Khao Phanern Thung – Phetchaburi Sea of Mist

tourist attraction

A land of mountains and mist, located within Kaeng Krachan National Park, Khao Phanoen Thung is considered one of the most beautiful viewpoints for observing the sea of mist in western Thailand. Standing over 900 meters above sea level, it offers cool temperatures year-round, especially in the mornings when you can witness the mist drifting gently in the soft sunlight while the sounds of hornbills echo through the forest… this is truly a paradise for nature lovers.

️The highlight of Khao Phanom Thung is the sea of mist in the morning.

The best time to visit Khao Phanern Thung is from the end of the rainy season to the beginning of winter (September-February). During this time, you can almost always see a sea of white mist floating lazily above the mountain range, especially in the early morning. The sunrise over the mist creates a feeling of being in another world.
